Research Interests:
The governance and regulation of science and technology; policy and management of technology in public and public-private networks; firm innovation strategies; and development policy, with emphasis on industrialisation and development, science and technology capabilities in East and Southern Africa, research policy and higher education in African universities and research institutes.
Directs ESRC Centre for Social and Economic Research on Innovation in Genomics.
Dave supervises PhD Students in his areas of research interest.
